This blog is for YOU, my reader. My aim is to provide you with potential solutions to challenges you may be facing in setting up a blog, growing it and monetizing it. The ultimate objective is helping you succeed online.
One topic, which is dear to me, is about mindset. When we embark on an entrepreneurial journey, oftentimes we will hit a brick wall. We start questioning ourselves. We hesitate. So be sure to read my blog posts on mindset, to keep you consistent and focused, to pick you up if you’ve hit that wall, to provide you with enough incentive to keep going towards your goals.
What do I know about blogging?
You are direct, aren’t you? Honest truth? I know enough based on my experience. How? A few years ago, I was looking for ways to supplement my income and was introduced to network marketing. I joined a company which promoted digital products and one of the best sellers was their blogging platform. As an incentive for us to promote the platform, we were trained to blog on it.
So, as I started blogging, I found that I have a passion for writing and for educating people to be more successful. I later left the network marketing world and decided in 2013 to start my own blog. It wasn’t easy, but my brain was like a sponge, eagerly absorbing new information and implementing it. In 2015, I had to stop my blog as I had more pressing priorities in my life. But, something was eating at me inside. Eventually, in 2018, I focused my efforts on “niching down” my blog and concentrate topics on just blogging and mindset. When I started out, it was more like a journal, including content on travel, network marketing, blogging and mindset.
From a professional perspective, I have been a management consultant for most of my career. I chose it because my passion is to help customers achieve their objectives, to educate them and provide them the road map to get to where they want. To me, blogging is the vehicle to provide value to my readers. It is a great way to broadcast my knowledge and my passion to you.
When I started blogging, I did it the hard way. I stumbled many times along the way, which was great, because it allowed me to learn from these mistakes. But, I also realized there must be a lot of people like me who probably got frustrated when they started their blog. I’m hoping that this blog would provide as many answers to your questions and challenges as possible. If and when it doesn’t, I’d like to have your candid feedback in asking what topic you’d like me to write about. At the bottom of every post, there’s an area where you can leave me a reply or comment.
