Before answering the above popular question about what topics to blog about, let me first say that I will be publishing a series of these Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about blogging with their short solutions and related blog posts for further reading.
What Are Some Topics To Blog About?
To answer this question correctly, it is important to first know WHY you want to blog. By knowing the reason(s), you can then decide on the topics, or niche, you want to blog about. In my opinion, you can blog about anything you want, as long as:
- Your passion about the topic / niche comes out in your writing style
- You are an expert about the topic (if you want to write user guides, manuals, how-to posts, etc.)
- The blog posts you write provide solutions to some of the challenges your readers have
- There are products in your chosen niche that you can influence your readers to purchase (if you want to monetize your blog)
If you have one or all of the above prerequisites, you can effectively choose your niche to blog about. As a result, you will attract readers to your blog and ultimately grow it.
This is one of the most popular question by new bloggers or people who are looking to start a blog.
Topics Are Categorized As Follow…
